  This website has two parts. Studying in general or studying a specific thing. I advise you to take the general test first and then the specific. It is excellent because it can tell you how good you are. First take a general test you can choose (easy, medium, difficult) I advise easy or medium for the start. Then choose 10 or 25 questions. 10 is good if you don't have that much time and 25 if you plan on studying for longer. When you submit your answers it tells you what you have wrong and it even explains to you what you have wrong and which test you should take next. Then it is the time you take the specific test according to the questions you got wrong in the first test. This website is strictly to find out how good you really are and where you have the biggest holes.

  This website is good for beginners because it gives you a choice from the easy verb tenses. When you take the test and you want to see the answers it opens in a new window, so that's practical. There are also other tests. I'd say it is almost as good as the previous website.

  This website is has material from The Headway so it is good to go along with if you are working with this book. It gives you a time limit, it let's you choose between a practice test and a real timed test. That is good to find out how well can you work with the time you have provided for yourself. These quizzes are on tenses so it doesn't have everything but it if worth to try if you have some time on your hands and if you work with Headway. There are also other categories 2."Primaci skousky na VS", 3."TOEFL", 4."Grammar in use". They are worth to try especially if you are preparing for university the 2. category.

  Listen to radio news and other programmes in English on your computer. I advise you to play the sample, write down what you understood and then play it again slowly with pausing and see what you missed and see how good you are. It is perfect for listening practice.

  Your average website for vocabulary. It has many choices you can choose from. Starting from games to serious vocabulary. It has word searches, hangman, word puzzles all the way up to serious vocabulary exercises.

  A very neat website, that has everything in order and you can choose any kind of vocabulary. What you do here is you learn words between two languages. English, German, French and Spanish. It is only good if you study two of these languages. For example if you study English and French.
